EARS & GEARS

Ears & Gears is a car show unlike any other you will EVER attend! Hosted by our member Charlie Sammut and his staff, all proceeds from this show go towards the Elephants of Africa Rescue Society (EARS), a 501 (c)(3) non-proft organization that resides on Charlie’s ranch in Salinas. EARS is a home to elephants in need of such. You definitely do and see things at this show will NOT see at any other show. 	Between the helicopter rides, the clowns(just kidding Kenny), the pretty girls with monkeys, and Corvettes with elephants, we really do mean it when we say you will see and do things at this show you will never do anywhere else!

The Corvette was a definite presence at the 2nd annual EARS & GEARS CAR SHOW & FAMILY DAY. Over 20 Corvettes parked on a private lawn, most belonging to MPCC members.

	With a record breaking 145 cars in attendance this year, EARS & GEARS 2006 raised a record breaking $12,000 to help support the elephants thanks to the many who attended. Below, the Corvettes face off against the Mustangs, a fun idea that was well received by all.

Once again MPCC member John Waltman generously shared his vintage firetruck with us - a huge hit with the kids each year.
